On May 10, 2026, Hainan Huatie Lianhang Technology Co., Ltd. (“Huatie Lianhang”) and Tongzhou Zhihang (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Shanghai. The two companies will integrate technology, manufacturing and operations to accelerate the intelligent transformation of the new-energy leisure-yacht sector and establish a benchmark for the next generation of green, smart yachts.
Combining strengths to build a new industry ecosystem
As a directly affiliated company of Hainan Huatie Group, Huatie Lianhang draws on the group’s resources and the policy advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port. The company focuses on the complete new-energy yacht value chain, spanning design and R&D, manufacturing, operations and services, and industry-chain integration. Its ambition is to build a globally leading asset-management platform for the sector and promote low-carbon waterborne mobility and leisure.
Under the new agreement, the partners will coordinate around three priorities:
1. Joint R&D: a new generation of green, intelligent yachts
Tongzhou Zhihang’s AI-powered vessel intelligence will be combined with Huatie Lianhang’s new-energy yacht manufacturing capabilities. Together, the partners will develop intelligent products for both charter operators and private customers, making navigation safer, operation simpler and the onboard experience smarter.
2. Platform development: full-lifecycle digital operations
The companies will jointly build a digital platform covering the yacht’s full lifecycle. Vessel management, maintenance, dispatch and operations will be coordinated through an integrated digital workflow to improve efficiency, reduce total cost and deliver a more transparent customer experience.
3. Market expansion: a global water-based tourism network
Leveraging the Hainan Free Trade Port and Huatie Lianhang’s service network, the partners will pursue tourism, charter and private-consumer opportunities across global waters. The first phase targets the delivery and operation of 500 yachts, making new-energy yachting accessible to more users.
